Safari
We usually start our visits at Lagaat Bahayot in the Safari compound (#4 on the map at the top). In this area, you can walk among ducks, peacocks, goats, turtles, and other animals. And you can also see deer and ostriches in their enclosures. Here are several photos:

Parrots
In several areas, there are cages with parrots. Here are several photos:

Reptile Room
Near the safari entrance, there is also a small room with snakes and other reptiles. At first, my kids were reluctant to hold snakes, but after a few minutes, they wanted to hold them all.
If you have not held a snake, it is surprising how soft they feel.
Here are several photos:

Crafting Area
Near the reptile room, there is a crafting area with wooden bricks, nails, and hammers.

Petting Area
There is also a petting area with bunnies and other animals.

At an additional cost, you can buy tickets for a tractor ride.

Summary
During our latest visit, we spent about two hours at Lagaat Bahayot. We did not purchase tickets for a tractor ride or bring food for a picnic. Therefore, you can easily spend half a day there.
Younger kids love this attraction, and as a result, it receives good reviews. The main downside is that it can get crowded on holidays and Saturdays. Hence, arrive early.
